의학서적전문 "성보의학서적"의 신간의학도서입니다.
스포츠의학 및 정형의학적 근막 및 관절 질환을 일상적으로 치료하면서, 우리는 어떻게 하면 환자의 스트레스를 줄이기 위해 불필요한 침습적치료를 피할 수 있을지에 대한 문제를 수없이 직면하게 된다. 만성 질환의 원인을 파악하는 것은 적절하고 새로운 다각적 치료법을 개발하는데 있어 근간이 된다. 특히 보존적 치료에 있어서는 비용을 절감할 수 있는 치료기법이 선호되어야 할 것이다. 만성 근막 통증의 치료에 있어서는 근막변형모델(fascial distortion model)에 의거한 충격파 치료법과 고전적 근막 치료법이 수년간 사용되었으나, 본 저자는 2012년부터 두가지 치료법을 병용하여 활용하고 있다.
방사형 충격파치료를 근막 적용하는 것은 STORZ MEDICAL 개발팀과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 이뤄졌다. 근막에 대한 충격파치료의 기본은 근막과 근막생리학뿐만이 아니라, 근막의 에너지 전달 측면에서의 역할과 근막 충격파치료의 적용 및 그 메커니즘의 이해에 있다. 본서의 목적은 정형의학 및스포츠의학 분야의 급성 및 만성 근육통의 치료에 필요한 근막 충격파치료에 관련된 기초지식을 전달하는 것이다. 현재 이 분야에서는 근거 중심 문헌이 아직 거의 발표되지 않았음을 주의해야 한다. 본서의 치료 적용에 대한 일련의 내용은 임상 경험을 바탕으로 한다. 향후의 발전을 위해, 치료기법을 점진적으로 검증하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.
